What Is A Koji?

A Koji is a type of interactive media that can help you sell your products, downloads, services or premium content. To create a Koji, simply select a template and customize before sharing the unique URL on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, or anywhere else!

1. How To Make A Koji

Making your first Koji is easy. First, sign up for an account on the Koji site and pick a corresponding template for the product you want to sell. (Not sure what to sell yet? No problem! Check out some of these product ideas to get the ball rolling.)

This could be a single digital product like an E-book, planner, print, or exclusive content. You can also select the Sell Digital Products storefront to sell multiple digital downloads in one place.  Kojis can also be used to sell a physical good like a T-shirt, or a service offering like consulting.

If you have a product idea, chances are there’s a template for it.

Pick out a corresponding template to create your first Koji. For instance, if you’re planning on selling a digital cookbook, you would configure the Sell E-books & PDFs template.

Next, add photos and videos, a description, and set your price. To edit your Kojis moving forward, click “Manage” and adjust accordingly.

2. Sharing Your Koji

Now that your Koji is configured, it’s time to share it on social platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. After you create a Koji, a pop-up will provide you with a URL that allows you to copy and share your Koji.

You can also share your Koji by selecting “Manage” on the top banner and then “Share”. From there, you can copy your unique Koji link for use anywhere on the internet or print out a QR code for promotion IRL.

Our most successful sellers understand the importance of pairing Kojis with enticing content that showcases the value of their product offerings.

On Instagram, share a story showcasing your photo presets paired with a link to your LUT store. On YouTube, make sure you direct your subscribers to your Koji link in the description to sign up for your newsletter. On TikTok, create videos showcasing your recipe e-book and direct your followers to your Koji link:

The more you share, the more you earn! Get creative with your content to start converting customers.

3. Getting Paid

Our templates are free to set up and operate– Koji only makes money when you do. Our small transaction fees vary by template. Customers can purchase from your Kojis using a credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay around the globe.

Once a transaction is completed, the funds are sent to your KojiPay Wallet. This wallet can be set up on your Koji Dashboard. You can withdraw directly to your bank account or debit card using Stripe or to your Paypal.

When you’re ready to withdraw your earnings, simply select “withdraw funds” and enter in the desired amount on your Kojipay Wallet. Withdrawals are typically processed within 2-5 days.

4. Using The Koji Dashboard

The Koji dashboard is one of the most helpful tools for sellers. You can track views and demographics broken down by social network. You’ll also have a clear view of your earnings over time, top customers, and top-performing Kojis ranked by monetization.

This data can be used to experiment with different types of content to help you earn more over time. Note that Kojis can be configured with add-ons like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and TikTok Pixel for additional insight.

The Koji dashboard also harbors your settings menu found on the left-hand sidebar. This section is used for account management, letting you update your username, log out and adjust account settings.

The dashboard sidebar also contains access to your profile. Your profile can host multiple Kojis, acting as a link in bio for sellers. You can customize your profile with any layout and custom video or photo backgrounds for free. Just like individual Kojis, your Koji profile has a unique link that can be shared across the internet.

Koji is designed to help you start selling on social media at any stage in your business journey. Have fun making Kojis to build your business!
