“Truth or Dare” is likely not an unfamiliar game to you. It’s the backbone of most childhood sleepovers and even still a fun way to challenge yourself and your friends at parties. If you think about it in modern social media times too, it’s the perfect mix of “ask me anything” posts and viral internet challenges.
With Koji’s Truth or Dare app, you get to bring a lighthearted game to your Link in Bio where you can engage deeply with your audience, make silly content that your followers really want to see, and earn real money at the same time.
So how exactly does it work? Your followers will go to your Link in Bio and submit a “truth” to answer or a “dare” to do on the Truth or Dare app. When they submit a challenge, they pay you an amount of their choice. Other followers will be able to “boost” their submission by contributing more money.
You will receive the money they contributed only after you have completed the challenge and uploaded it to the app. If you do not complete the challenge within 7 days of the original submission, all contributing followers will receive a full refund of their money.
If you’re ready to start playing and earning with Truth or Dare, read on:
1 – Add Truth or Dare to your Link in Bio
Visit the Koji App Store link here to add it.
2 – Add Some Details
Here you’ll add a cover photo and description. Descriptions are optional, but we recommend spending some time on this section; it’s where you can set the stage for the kind of truths and dares you want to receive by describing your preferences.
Do you want to keep it more serious and low-key? Or maybe you want to push yourself and try something crazy! This is the place to let your fans know what kind of truth or dare challenges you’ll respond to.
3 – Publish & Promote
After you’ve added all the information you want, tap “Next” to publish your app to your Link in Bio where it will go live! Now you can easily direct your fans to check out your Truth or Dare app and start submitting challenges or boosting existing challenges. This is an important step because if no one knows about your app, no one will contribute to challenges.
4 – Review the Truth or Dare Challenge(s)
Once you have a few Truth or Dare challenges in your app, it’s time to review them and choose a few you want to respond to. Scroll down to “Unfulfilled Challenges” to see which challenges are still live.
One important thing to remember is that you are always in control. If you see something you don’t like, you don’t have to respond to it (no matter how much money was contributed) and you can also delete it from your profile.
5 – Respond to the Truth or Dare Challenge(s)
Finally, we’re at the fun part: responding to the challenge! When you’ve selected a challenge you want to respond to, tap “Select Truth” or “Select Dare”, depending on what kind of challenge was submitted. You will then have the option to record or upload a video, or write a response (if it’s a Truth challenge). Here are a couple of tips for responding to each kind of post:
- TRUTH TIP: If you’ve chosen to respond to a Truth challenge, then really respond truthfully. We guarantee your fans will be able to tell a real truth from a fake truth, so embrace the opportunity to be vulnerable. Of course, don’t share more than you’re comfortable with, but if you’re worried about your answer, it might be best to select a different truth.
- DARE TIP: When responding to a Dare challenge, make sure you fully complete the dare to ensure that your followers feel like they spent their money well. If you’re uncomfortable doing a dare to its fullest, simply don’t choose it and select one that you’re confident you can complete within the 7 day limit.
And that’s it! You’re on your way to becoming a Truth or Dare master and creating a one-of-a-kind experience for your followers. We hope it will foster new and stronger relationships with your audience to help you grow your platform even faster.
